“SAKURA” Japan Women’s Wine Awards is an international wine competition in Japan.

1. Ceremony of “SAKURA” Japan Women’s Wine Awards 2017

The announcement and the ceremony for the award winners of “Diamond Trophy” and “Special award GrandPrix” was held at FOODEX JAPAN 2017 on the 7th of March.

It was a lively atmosphere created by the participants of the winners, supporters such as embassies and associations, sales partners, judges and the exhibitors of FOODEX JAPAN.

This year’s “The Best wine produced by a woman winemaker” was conferred on Ms. Eva Prim from Celler Ronadelles in Spain. Ms. Karen Turner from Prieure St Jean de Bebian in France, last year’s winner, attended as a presenter and offered her congratulations to Ms. Eva Prim

All of the award-winning wines were displayed during the 4-day of FOODEX JAPAN 2017 and the tasting corner for the award-winning wines offered by the exhibitors was a great success.
