Q:Can wines made by men join the Awards?
→A:Yes, you can. We are the competition among wines made by every gender (i.e. not only women), whereas it is judged solely by women. The only exception is the Special Awards "The Best Woman Winemaker" which goes to an item from female winemaker.

Q:May I register wines that are not yet imported into Japan?
→A:Yes, you can. We also will hold a post-competition tasting event exclusive for non-imported awarded wines to increase their exposure in Japan.

This is the big event for women subscriber of Nikkei Inc., the biggest economic newspaper in Japan.
The awarded wine of "SAKURA" Japan Women’s Wine Awards 2019 will be served to the ladies attend the party!
This year, participants can enjoy the awarded wines and various products offered by JANAT (French tea brand) and OHAYO Dairy Product Co.. Hiromi Yamamoto, a famous make-up artist is also invited to talk in a mini make-up session.
