Thank you very much for your continued support for “SAKURA” Japan Women’s Wine Awards.

We are pleased to report that we have successfully completed the judging despite the postponements.
We have received a record number of 4,652 entries from 25 countries.

The tasting sessions were conducted in Tokyo (Apr. 4th) and Osaka (Apr. 13th) , in keeping with one of the purposes of SAKURA AWARDS, "to get a wide range of people involved in the wine industry from all over Japan, not only in Tokyo” by the total of 430 female judges(280 judges in Tokyo, 150 judges in Osaka).

The results of the 9th SAKURA AWARDS will be announced on the official website on Apr. 25th and 28th.

The award-winning wines selected for the past eight competitions have been highly evaluated not only in Japan but also around the world.
In addition, as the scene of enjoying wine at home has become more popular in recent years, the "SAKURA AWARD medal logo sticker" with a motif of cherry blossom petals has come to attract attention as an indicator of delicious wines that go well with home cooking.
In Japan, awarded wines of “SAKURA AWARDS” are promoted widely by our sales partners and importers.
